The Hôtel du Poète is located at the gateway to the Luberon massif, in the heart of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. This unusual village, known as Vaucluse (Vau Cluso in Provençal) until 1948, then gave its name to the department. It boasts renowned natural resources, including the incredible Source of the River Sorgue, just a few metres away from the hotel.
Tucked away in a secluded setting, surrounded by unspoilt nature, the Hôtel du Poète affords access to some of the most beautiful scenery in the Vaucluse. Housed in an old mill that has been skilfully transformed into a unique place to stay, it offers all the charm of Provence with a surprising Venice-like feel. With its waterfront setting, the hotel is flanked by the Sorgue, the river that runs through the village and meanders under our garden terraces - the perfect spot to relax and enjoy leisurely lunches.

Nathalie, Olivier and their team are keen to welcome guests as if to their home and to guide them as best they can, offering advice and information about the local region so visitors can make the very most of their stay. A haven of calm and relaxation
While the enchanting surroundings of the Hôtel du Poète in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse are probably enough on their own to make you disconnect, we offer a number of additional services. Throughout the summer months, residents can enjoy the gentle pace of life on the banks of the River Sorgue, which runs alongside the hotel, as well as the pleasures of the swimming pool. And then, of course, there's the jacuzzi for added relaxation, and the hotel’s leafy, wooded gardens.
